Summer vacation in up: Summer in UP, summer vacation has increased, now school will open this date

Big news related to the council schools of UP is coming out. Due to the heat wave in Uttar Pradesh, all the council schools will now be closed till 30 June 2025. Education will start from 1 July 2025 in council schools. However, teachers, Shikshamitra, instructor and non -teaching staff will have to be present in the school. They have been ordered to edit educational, administrative and other work by presenting the school according to the scheduled time table.

UP School Closed: When will schools open in Uttar Pradesh?

The Management Committee in the schools recognized by the Uttar Pradesh government will be authorized to take a decision in this regard. Surendra Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, UP Basic Education Council, has issued an order to the Basic Education Officers of all the districts. Earlier, summer vacation was declared in council schools from 20 May to 15 June. According to the old schedule, the schools were to open from 16 June 2025 (Monday). But in view of the weather, schools have been ordered to be closed for the next 15 days.

Summer Vacation in UP 2025: Teachers will have to attend

School time in UP is scheduled from 8 am to 2 pm. State President of Uttar Pradesh BTC Teachers Association Anil Yadav has demanded the school holiday time to be done at 12 noon. Before the year 2015, the summer vacation in schools was 40 days. All government schools used to open from 1 July. Later, along with summer vacation, Winter vacation (from 31 December to 14 January) also started. According to this, both of them were discharged for 40 days.
